Although Eva Longoria feels very connected to Spanish culture, **she is not actually from Spain**. She was born in **Texas, United States**, and comes from a **Mexican-American family**. However, her ancestry includes historical links to Spain, which sparked her curiosity about Spanish culture and traditions. ![](https://ca-times.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/f8d77ac/2147483647/strip/true/crop/1366x1366+0+0/resize/1080x1080!/quality/75/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcalifornia-times-brightspot.s3.amazonaws.com%2F4c%2F0b%2F08aa19be49ddb5df29159dd5980b%2Feva-longoria.jpg) Over the years, Longoria has shown a growing interest in understanding the roots of Spanish culture — especially through **food, history and local traditions**. This curiosity eventually led her to create the documentary series ***Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain***, where she travels around the country discovering regional cuisine, local chefs and the cultural stories behind many traditional dishes. Even though she’s American, her passion for Spanish culture has made many fans feel that **she has a very authentic connection to Spain** ❤️🇪🇸   ## 🏡 Where in Spain does Eva Longoria live?
